The Eleanor and James Charlton Scholarship

Ellie Charlton loved children and valued education. The Eleanor and James Charlton Scholarship was recently established in order to provide additional support to Sauvie Island students entering college. The scholarships will range $500-$1000 and will be awarded in late spring. Sauvie Island student residents or students who have attended Sauvie Island School may apply.

Applicants–from Scappoose High School, other area high schools, or Island home schoolers–wishing more information may send email (please write the word ‘scholarship’ in the subject line) to:  charltonfarm@msn.com or write to the Eleanor and James Charlton Scholarship, 13825 NW Charlton Rd., Portland, Oregon 97231. Applications will be accepted after February 1st.
